About Latitude 33 Planning & Engineering Latitude 33 Planning & Engineering is an established land planning and civil engineering firm providing comprehensive services throughout Southern California. Our work spans healthcare, higher education, civic, commercial, industrial, residential, mixed-use, and aviation projects. Responsibilities • Prepare civil engineering designs, plans, reports, and technical documents. • Support land development projects from planning and entitlement through construction. • Assist with grading, drainage, utility, stormwater, and site development design. • Coordinate with clients, agencies, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams. • Prepare and review construction documents and project deliverables. • Assist with project schedules, budgets, proposals, invoices, and change orders. • Attend project meetings, agency meetings, and client meetings as needed. • Respond to plan check comments and agency review comments. • Support project managers and senior staff with technical design and coordination. • Manage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines and quality standards. • Mentor and support junior staff or designers as needed.
Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. • Current California Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. • 4+ years of civil engineering and land development experience preferred. • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Experience with grading, drainage, utility, stormwater, and site development design. • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to coordinate with clients, agencies, consultants, and internal teams. • Experience preparing construction documents and technical reports. • Knowledge of Southern California agency standards and permitting processes is a plus. • Experience with healthcare, higher education, civic, commercial, industrial, residential, or mixed-use developments is a plus.
